Start with a hip hinge which is the ideal position for a deadlift. Hip hinge is more like a squat position. After you’ve mastered the hip hinge, keeping your feet a little apart, back straight, you should get a grip on the bar. After your grip is perfect, slowly raise the bar above your head and hold it still for a couple of minutes. Don’t forget to breathe and slowly bring down the weights. Repeat in sets.
Pull-ups: is also an effective exercise to gain weight. Just like push-ups, this exercise is also a part of weight gain calisthenics. It helps in increasing the weight around your back and biceps. Hang all the way down on a bar with a grip slightly wider than shoulder width, with your hands facing away from you. After you have a grip on the bar, pull yourself up until your chin is above the bar. Hold the position for a while and lower yourself down. Try not to swing.
Upright Barbell Rows and Dumbbell Shoulder Press:
These exercises help a thin body gain a good physique. Keep your hand a little apart and hold two dumbbells in each hand. The dumbbells should rest on your things. Lift the dumbbells using your arm and shoulder strength. Keep the dumbbells close to your body and touch your chin. Slowly bring the dumbbells down and don’t forget to inhale and exhale. Repeat in sets.
